Mary Garza Veterinary Technician
Mary started working at BEH in November 2002 as part-time weekend help and enjoyed it so much that she accepted a full-time position in April 2004. She currently works at night, monitoring hospitalized patients, assisting in after hours emergencies and getting the clinic ready for the next days business. Mary started riding horses when she was 11 years old and trained her own horse to become reserve circuit champion. She has also worked as a trainer for a saddlebred farm in Montana and an assistant trainer for a stable at Eagle Mountain Lake, specializing in western pleasure and reining. Currently she owns several Paint and Quarter Horse broodmares, as well as two Paint stallions, a blue roan tobiano reiner and a palomino overo ROM halter stallion, several cats, dogs and a rabbit.
